Description
Reporting to the Senior Brand and Content Manager, the Graphic Designer will support the management, development, and execution of the organisation's visual brand strategy. The role combines hands-on design expertise with the ability to contribute creative ideas, delivering compelling visual communications that support business objectives and enhance brand recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Brand and Content Manager in building, maintaining, and evolving the organisation's brand identity.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently across all creative assets, ensuring high-quality, on-brand communications for internal and external audiences.
- Champion best practice in visual storytelling and brand design throughout the organisation. • Contribute to the ongoing development of brand assets, templates, and design standards.
- Create and deliver multi-channel print, audiovisual and digital assets for websites, email campaigns, and paid media
- Produce creative concepts from brief through to final delivery, ensuring work is aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop visual assets for video, animation, motion graphics, and multimedia content.
- Prepares artwork and files to the required technical specifications.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to deliver engaging audiovisual campaigns.
- Work with teams to understand requirements and deliver effective creative solutions.

- Act as the organisation's design specialist, providing expert advice on creative approaches, design trends, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative processes, efficiencies, and design output.
Work environment
The post holder should expect to:
- Work in a hot desk environment, at least two days of meaningful time a week in the Foundation’s office, plus time within hospital sites as required
- Will occasionally be required to attend events in the evening and at weekends.

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Expert knowledge of graphic design principles, including typography, layout, colour theory, visual hierarchy, and accessibility standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of print production processes, specifications, materials, and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of digital design best practices, including mobile-first layout principles, conversion-focused landing page UI, accessible email design asset limits, and ad platform creative constraints
- Experience managing projects from concept to delivery.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrable experience of working with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, including people from a wide range of backgrounds.
