Specialist, Order to Cash Customer Master Data and Credit Risk
Our company’s Business Services Centers (BSCs), located across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized global financial processes. The BSCs support the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across business divisions and markets.
The Specialist, Order to Cash Customer Master Data and Credit Risk, is primarily responsible for Customer Master Data activities, including maintaining, monitoring, and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data across relevant systems. The role also carries secondary responsibility for Credit Risk activities, including credit reviews, maintenance of appropriate credit limits, and updating relevant credit risk data in the system.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create and execute changes to SAP master data including Customer Master Data, Credit Management Data and related records.
- Ensure master data integrity across key systems and maintain processes supporting data quality.
- Identify data quality improvement opportunities and resolve data quality issues through effective controls, process improvement and collaboration with SMEs and data stewards
- Support data governance activities and ensure compliance with established master data standards.
- Collaborate with functional data owners in the development and documentation of processes.
- Assist in maintaining functional master data integrity across financial systems to ensure compliance with business rules and requirements.
- Works closely with the business and IT teams to ensure alignment between master data rules and application operations with business requirements.
- Performs mass maintenance and data updates as required.
- Ensures client inquiries are addressed in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Perform independent assessments of creditworthiness for the assigned customer portfolio.
- Review and maintain customer credit limits based on business forecasts, business requirements and risk evaluations.
- Review ad-hoc requests and resolve credit risk issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding credit exposure, risk mitigation strategies, and customer risk profiles.
- Support on execution of customer master data and credit risk controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of master data, credit risk and process-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and support audit readiness activities.
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3-4 Years SAP Customer Master Data Management experience.
- Experience in Credit Risk Management is preferred.
- Experience working within a shared services or global business services environment is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Business Level fluency in English and Mandarin required (spoken and written)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- SAP experience is required.
