Description
Develops and executes assigned federal account and opportunity strategies aligned with Magellan Federal's strategic goals, capabilities, client needs, market trends, and competitive environment to achieve assigned growth targets. (25%)
Manages assigned opportunities within the federal business development pipeline in accordance with standard operating procedures, including opportunity identification, qualification, documentation, and lifecycle tracking. (25%)
Develops and presents Identification and Qualification gate reviews, providing leadership with client, technical, competitive, teaming, pricing, and risk insights needed to make informed decisions and advance opportunities through the business development lifecycle. (20%)
Supports capture and proposal managers throughout capture and proposal phases, contributing to solution development, teaming strategies, pricing approaches, and proposal content. (20%)
Provides guidance to less experienced business development personnel and supports continuous improvement, audits, and compliance related to business development tools and processes. (10%)

Responsibilities
8+ years of business development experience supporting federal programs, including experience in health, readiness, workforce support, and behavioral health.Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Possesses a working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and demonstrated experience engaging with federal civilian and defense agency stakeholders.
Demonstrates the ability to develop and execute account and opportunity strategies aligned with organizational capabilities, client needs, market trends, and revenue goals.
Leads opportunity identification and qualification activities and develops clear, decision-ready gate review materials.
Collaborates effectively across internal teams, consultants, industry partners, and client stakeholders to support revenue growth.
Develops and delivers executive-level presentations on account strategy, opportunities, pipeline, and execution.
Demonstrates a track record of meeting or exceeding assigned business development performance targets, including revenue growth objectives.
Maintains proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

$178,890This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
