Description
The Department Secretary is valuable role within Franciscan Health, providing secretarial, clerical, and general office support to their department. This position provides next-level communication and hands-on skills for incoming visitors and services, technologies, and the department itself.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Department Secretary, Administrative Offices, Franciscan Physician Network, Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:00 pm
- Develop and oversee inter-and intra-departmental communications, special projects, and services.
- Answer or redirect telephone calls with ethical and professional standards met.
- Maintain scheduling and calendars for providers, EHR, department, and meetings.
- Enter information into the EHR system; run and distribute reports, as appropriate.
- Open and sort mail, including interoffice mail; run mail through the mail machine and prepare packages.
- Operate office equipment and monitor inventory needs, as required for the standardized care of the department.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Administrative Preferred
