Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Responsible for sales of Low Voltage Systems (LVS), comprising of IEC Low Voltage Motor Control Center, Switchgear and Busway, within Türkiye and the STAN countries in accordance with business line strategy.
Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way.
Order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.
This role is based in Türkiye.
This role will be reporting to Regional M&S leader LVS for MEAT&I region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• To sell ABB Low Voltage systems to customers, focusing on volume, and profitability targets within Türkiye and the STAN countries
• Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships and understands customer needs, promotes customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution
• Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
• Prepares sales plans using company tools
• Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
• Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques
• Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
• Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
• Lead customer-facing activities, including LVS pre-qualification, prescription, spec influencing
• Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
• Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed
• Coordinate with LVS factories to prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department
• Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions

Qualifications for the role

• At least 10 years of commercial leadership experience with direct management of sales and marketing teams preferably in Low voltage system business and knowledge in low Voltage product business
• Ability to lead teams effectively, including geographically remote teams
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design and execution of commercial plans and strategies
• Proven track record in designing and deploying marketing strategies and/or leading and closing large sales deals
• Demonstrated ability for leading and building organizational capabilities, robust systems and processes and culture of high performance / excellence in marketing and sales
• Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills and senior executive presence. Self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering
• Fluency in English and Turkish
