Position Title: Commercial Lines Producer
Corcoran and Havlin has an opening in our Wellesley MA location for an experienced Commercial Lines Producer.

**Unique Opportunity** This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Middle-Market Commercial Lines Producer to inherit an established book of business from a retiring producer, providing immediate renewal income, while continuing to build and grow their own book of business.
Basic Duties & Responsibilities.
- Identify, solicit, analyze, and generate Commercial Lines sales for the company
- Participate in the development of an annual sales marketing plan to meet annual sales goals
- Regularly connect with appropriate business contacts for potential opportunities and increase sales on existing business generated or assigned.
- Identify prospect and existing client exposures, make appropriate coverage and product recommendations, and customize insurance programs to eliminate gaps in coverage
- Increase sales opportunities by identifying additional product offerings on existing clients to meet their insurance needs.
- Provide a high level of timely & professional customer service to all prospective and existing clients
- Provide potential clients with the appropriate products in accordance with the company’s underwriting rules and procedures to avoid risks and maintain a profitable book of business.
- Maintain client relationships and the retention of accounts through client renewal meetings and adherence to department workflows
- Cooperates in gathering information on renewals with Commercial Lines team members, supervise delivery of new & renewal business policies and / or binders and collection of premiums in accordance with agency policy & procedures
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, carriers, underwriters, referral partners
- Properly document all sales initiatives and correspondence within the agency management system as well as the CRM sales tools made available for the prospecting of potential clients
- Participates in continuing professional development as required by state licensing requirements and Agency procedures and ongoing training of new products
Job Qualifications:
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in insurance brokerage, carrier or related business sales experience including calling on senior business executives
- Personable, highly motivated, goal- oriented organized individual that is driven to achieve individual sales goals

- Strong communication skills (both oral & written), negotiation, and relationship building skill sets with the ability to close insurance sales
- Excellent problem-solver who can work well with department team members and senior management and have a top-level executive presence
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of social media platforms

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $70,000–$95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
