Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Engineer
General Description
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Engineer to apply expert level AI/ML analytic approaches to large volume of data from disparate sources to uncover cybersecurity threats and fraud schemes against the organization
The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Engineer will leverage Databricks to develop analytic solutions using Python, SQL, and R to create, interpret, visualize, and report on complex data to stakeholders at all levels. Responds to ad hoc requests from stakeholders to investigate concerns. Responsible for working across business units to identify, collect, aggregate, analyze new data sources, and advance the team’s mission and reduce the time needed to deliver analytical insights. Responsible for highlighting and analyzing gaps in USPS systems and processes, as well as recommending remediation solutions to more effectively deter cybersecurity threats and fraudulent activity.

Required Experience and Education
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
- Applicant must be an expert with data science and AI/ML concepts used for fraud detection. Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML solution development, data science practice, data strategy and governance, and customer and stakeholder engagement – all developed over many years of client work delivering solutions.
- Ability to design AI-powered solutions, integrating large language models, computer vision, and advanced analytics into secure, high-performing environments
- Ability to direct specialized teams comprising of data scientists, data engineers, and business intelligence specialists driving key AI and advanced technology solutions across secure environments.
- Manages delivery across multiple engagements including business intelligence, technology and tradecraft, financial operations, workforce analytics, cyber, artificial intelligence, risk management, and product development to enhance organizational performance (Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS).
- Advanced skills applying AI/ML tools to accelerate business activities including but not limited to programming and script development.
- Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomes.

Additional Provisions
- Pass a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
- Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
- If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
- All candidates must be a US Citizen or permanent status Green Card holder.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
- All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
- Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
- The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e., collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.
Travel Requirements
- Work will be remote with candidates located in Morrisville, NC; Falls Church, VA; or Eagan, MN given preference
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work
- Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
