Summary: Acts in a dual role as a Radiation Oncology clinic nurse and as a Survivorship Coordinator for the Cancer Program. Oversees Radiation Oncology patients’ care and evaluates the appropriateness and outcome of care in conjunction with the patient care team. Supports and acts as a resource to the physician and health care team. Strives to achieve positive patient care outcomes throughout the disease process by practicing according to the standards of care and procedures and policies provided. Creates and delivers Survivorship Care plans, coordinates and tracks the program for presentation at quarterly Cancer Committee and NAPBC meetings. Coordinates and facilitates weekly General Tumor Board meetings.
Experience: Radiation or Medical Oncology experience highly preferred. Interest in Survivorship required. BCLS certification, Oncology Nurse Certification strongly preferred. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
