  Primary Responsibilities

  The Senior Replenishment Process Owner leads the enterprise replenishment and letdown process across the distribution network, establishing the standards, metrics, and best practices for consistent execution. Partnering cross-functionally with DC Operations, Capacity, Slotting, Inventory Control, Engineering, Transportation, and IT, this role uses data and process analysis to design scalable solutions that support efficient warehouse operations, inventory availability, and customer service. The role owns the replenishment framework and performance expectations — not day-to-day execution, which remains with DC leadership. Through enterprise process ownership, performance management, and continuous improvement, this role ensures KeHE’s replenishment practices remain aligned with operational goals, inventory strategy, and customer service expectations.   Essential Functions

  DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Standards and Process Design

  • Own and continuously evolve KeHE’s enterprise replenishment and letdown operating model, including network standards, processes, methodologies, and standard work.
  • Establish replenishment guidelines including frequency, triggers, priorities, timing, and execution expectations, and determine where the network requires standardization versus controlled DC-level flexibility.
  • Define the operating interface between replenishment and wave planning, order cutoff times, and dispatch sequencing so that letdown priority remains aligned with pick and dispatch urgency.
  • Define, jointly with Inventory Control, the pick-slot inventory accuracy inputs that replenishment depends on, including walkoff cycle counting, and establish accountability for each.

  Performance Management and Analytics

  • Develop and own the enterprise replenishment KPI framework, building on existing measures such as On-Time Letdown %, Walkoff %, and Pick Short $, and extending it to productivity, availability, responsiveness, inventory flow, and service impact.
  • Establish performance expectations and reporting that enable DC leadership to manage replenishment execution day to day.
  • Analyze replenishment performance across the network to identify trends, root causes, and systemic issues, distinguishing DC execution gaps from enterprise process or system defects.
  • Develop analytical tools and reporting that support replenishment decisions and root-cause analysis.

  Systems and Technology

  • Own the enterprise replenishment configuration within NTS, including replenishment logic, sequencing rules, system parameters, and the change governance around them. Partner with IT as the build and support owner.
  • Evaluate WMS functionality and emerging technology for opportunities to improve replenishment effectiveness, and define the business requirements for enhancements.

  Deployment and Adoption

  • Identify high-performing replenishment practices within the network and lead their adoption enterprise-wide.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve replenishment productivity, consistency, responsiveness, and inventory availability.
  • Lead network implementation of new replenishment processes, standards, and tools, partnering with DC Operations to ensure they are practical and scalable, and ensure improvements are sustained.
  • Partner with Capacity and Slotting to ensure inventory placement, storage capacity, pick-face configuration, and replenishment processes work together effectively.
  • Partner with Inventory Control, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to resolve systemic replenishment issues and improve warehouse performance.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse replenishment, letdown, reserve inventory, pick locations, and inventory flow.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between replenishment, slotting, capacity, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and customer service.
  • Ability to design, standardize, and govern processes across multiple distribution centers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to establish meaningful KPIs and performance management processes.
  • Strong understanding of WMS functionality, replenishment logic, and system configuration, including how wave planning, order cutoff times, and dispatch sequencing drive replenishment priority.
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-site initiatives and drive adoption through influence.
  • Strong communication, presentation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance enterprise standardization with the unique requirements of individual distribution centers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business intelligence and analytical tools preferred.

  Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, replenishment, distribution, supply chain, or related operational process management.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, or improving replenishment or letdown processes within a distribution or warehouse environment.
  • Experience developing standard work, operating procedures, KPIs, and performance management processes.
  • Experience working across multiple distribution centers or operational environments preferred.
  • Experience with WMS, replenishment systems, operational reporting, and analytical tools preferred.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement or multi-site process improvement initiatives preferred.

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work performed in both office and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout distribution centers for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of computers, keyboards, and office equipment.
  • Occasional bending, lifting, or reaching required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Travel required 25%-50% across regional distribution centers.
