Village Camp Moab is a premium RV and cabin resort just minutes from Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, with red-rock views and the Colorado River close by. We offer premium RV sites, adventure cabins, and luxury vacation rentals. We are part of the Village Camp family, with sister resorts in Flagstaff, Arizona and Truckee, California. The Honest Truth About This Job

We want to be upfront, because the right person will appreciate it.

In season, this job is a blast. Spring and fall in Moab are electric. The resort is full, guests are excited, and every day brings something new, from welcoming families heading to Arches to solving problems on the fly to watching the sun set on the canyon walls after a long, rewarding day. It is fast-paced, social, and full of energy.

Out of season, it is quiet. Really quiet. In the slower months, the resort's pace drops a lot. There are fewer guests, fewer staff, and much less going on. This is when the real work of running a resort happens: deep cleaning, repairs, projects, planning, hiring, and getting ready for the next season. Some people find this stretch peaceful and satisfying. Others find it lonely or boring. Please think honestly about which one you are before applying.

Who We're Looking For 

We need a leader who leads with heart and soul. Someone who genuinely cares about guests, looks out for their team, and takes pride in this place like it's their own.

We also need someone who is not above any task. On any given day, you might be reviewing a budget in the morning, pulling weeds in the afternoon, and helping turn over a cabin before a late check-in. If you'd rather lead from behind a desk, this isn't your role. If you believe the best leaders roll up their sleeves right alongside their team, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Lead the Team

• Hire, train, schedule, and support front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff, including seasonal and workamper team members
• Build a positive, respectful, team-first culture where people want to come back season after season
• Set the example by working alongside your team, whether that's cleaning, landscaping, or handling guest issues

Take Care of Guests

• Be the face of the resort and create warm, memorable experiences
• Handle guest concerns with patience, kindness, and good judgment
• Build strong relationships with RV site owners and long-term guests
• Manage reviews and guest feedback, and use them to improve

Run the Resort

• Oversee daily operations, including reservations, check-ins, site assignments, and housekeeping
• Keep the grounds, cabins, and RV sites clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times
• Roll up your sleeves for hands-on work: weeding, landscaping, cleaning cabins, and light maintenance
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and larger projects
• Enforce resort rules and policies fairly and consistently

Own the Business Side

• Manage the budget, control costs, and help drive revenue and occupancy
• Track inventory and order supplies
• Prepare Owners Statements monthly
• Prepare reports for leadership
• Use the off-season to plan ahead: projects, staffing, training, and improvements for the next busy season

Requirements

 What it takes to succeed: 

• [2+] years of management experience in hospitality, campgrounds, RV resorts, vacation rentals, or property management
• Proven experience leading and motivating a team
• A genuine love for serving people and a calm, friendly presence under pressure
• Willingness and physical ability to do hands-on work outdoors in all conditions, including Moab summer heat. This includes lifting up to [50] lbs, bending, kneeling, and being on your feet for long periods.
• Comfort with reservation software, email, and basic budgeting/spreadsheets
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak-season long days
• Valid driver's license [and ability to pass a background check]
• Basic maintenance or landscaping know-how
• Experience in a seasonal or tourism-driven business
• Love of the outdoors and the Moab area

Compensation: 

$58,500 + 30 annual bonus
