Description
A large, fast-paced organisation operating in a complex, technology-driven environment is looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support two strategically important areas: people and technology.
This is a role for someone who wants to get close to the business. You’ll partner with relevant stakeholders, turning complex financial information into practical commercial insight, challenging spend and helping ensure investment decisions deliver real value.
Note - Cape Town, CBD | Hybrid - 4 days in office | 6 Month Contract (Potential to become permanent)
What you’ll be doing
- Own budgeting, monthly forecasting and insightful variance analysis across HR and Engineering
- Manage people costs and headcount forecasting, including salaries, benefits, recruitment costs and planned hiring
- Partner with Engineering on cloud infrastructure, software costs, technology investment and CapEx vs OpEx decisions
- Build financial models for restructures, outsourcing, build-vs-buy decisions and new investments
- Deliver accurate, insight-led monthly management reporting while maintaining strong financial controls
- Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities early, and turn financial data into clear recommendations for leadership
