We are looking for a proactive and experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements. As a key member of the operations team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor production performance, manage resources effectively, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct Production functions in plant including Packaging & Lean Manager, Production engineers, Production shift leads, Production Reporting Function and Raw Material Operation.
- Managing the Direct Labor and POH budgets by ensuring spending’s met on target
- Managing headcount in production department
- Assuring best optimal production plan is scheduled for each week with minimum possible DL cost
- Taking role in volume distribution negotiations
- Ensuring the completion of volume in weekly production plan
- Managing the preparation of all reports including cost, efficiency, plant scorecard, etc.
- Taking role in full plant agenda for the interaction with the production plan
- Ensuring efficient production runs on all categories
- Ensuring food safety on all production lines
- Ensuring people safety on all production lines
- Track Performance in all categories (basic, oil, seasoning, packaging efficiencies)
- Supporting R&D for new product trials and launchs
- Leading new line commissioning in all categories
- Managing the production department related capex projects and cashflow
- Managing packaging projects
- Gate keeping of IPS and Weak Link standards
- Planning trainings for production department
- Leading the Plant QCDM Scorecard
- Communication with other plants to share best practices
- Arranging the support to the other region plants in line commissioning and trainings
- Leading productivity and recon savings program
- Meeting the requirements of GEHSMS and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System documentation related with in his/her area of responsible
- Provide support to her/his staff to attend necessary trainings.
- Lead Raw Material budget
- Participating in regular meetings with plant management to discuss quality &food safety and track the meeting actions related to own responsibility
- Reports the problems it detects on AIB, FSSC, GMP, Product Safety, Hygiene and Food Defense to the relevant responsible persons
- Reporting problems related to food safety management system to designated responsible personnel
- Knowing and fully complying with PepsiCo Quality and Food Safety Policy
- Ensure that the necessary actions are taken to ensure the continuity and improvement of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, to fulfill the system requirements GEHSMS and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Knowing and fully complying with the PepsiCo Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Policy,
- Ensuring that actions are taken by making risk notifications,
Qualifications
- University degree (Engineering)
- More than 10 years of experience.
- Experience in FMCG production, budget management & production planning
- English fluency
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and employ effective time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
