Education

• Students in process of completing an accredited nursing program.
• New Graduate RN who is in the licensing process or has completed the process.

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
• Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Registered Nurse 6-month Transition to Practice Programs at Sentara:

• No separate application required, no contract to participate, automatic enrollment upon hire for any RN with less than 12 months experience or transitioning to a new practice area.
• Bridge the gap from student to professional RN with the support you need.
• Sharpen your critical thinking & communication & develop effective decision-making skills.
