Position Summary
The Client Service Associate (CSA) plays a critical role in supporting Boston Partners’ institutional, sub-advisory, and high-net-worth client relationships. Serving as a direct point of contact for clients and consultants, the CSA manages routine lifecycle transaction needs, coordinates responses to ad hoc requests, and works closely with Relationship Managers to support the overall client experience. In this capacity, the CSA acts as a liaison across internal departments, provides backup coverage for assigned Relationship Managers, and helps deliver consistent, high-quality service in a fast-paced investment management environment.
Major Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales & Relationship Managers to support day-to-day client service and new account onboarding.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of all assigned client relationships including investment strategies, portfolio guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Manage clients’ and consultants’ routine requests and maintain accurate, up-to-date client records.
- Research and gather data to respond to non-routine requests.
- Assist Relationship Managers in preparing for client meetings by facilitating the collation of firm-wide and product specific data and submitting presentation book requests.
- Coordinate and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for clients and consultants.
- Proficiently maintain several industry database, account onboarding, and reporting systems.
Requirements/ Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree: concentration in business/finance is a plus.
Minimum of three years of experience with an investment management firm or equivalent.
Strong understanding of global financial markets and product differences/characteristics.
Experience with an institutional client base strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to analyze, prioritize, multi-task and work independently to meet deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of AI-enabled business tools to apply them thoughtfully and responsibly to enhance productivity, improve workflow efficiency, and support high-quality client service outcomes.
Reliable and well-organized, able to juggle several projects simultaneously.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel are required; knowledge of FactSet, Varden and Microsoft Dynamics CRM are a plus.

- Job may require working beyond regular business hours on a periodic basis.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000.
It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
