Energy Sales Intern

Job Description

Position Overview: This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our Energy business unit, working closely with Energy Sales Representatives.  This internship will be tailored to learn the energy business, propane and refined fuels, while assisting customers and supporting sales efforts.  This specialized internship will provide real world working experience culminating in a capstone project that will be presented to senior leadership at the end of the internship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to 

• Partner with Energy Sales Representatives to support customer relationships and gain hands-on experience in energy sales. 
• Gain understanding of the energy business unit, including propane and refined fuel applications, safety practices, and market trends. 
• Communication with customers building business relationships.    
• Maintain accurate customer records and assist with administrative sales functions. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer inquiries.    
• Follow approved safety practices in the performance of job responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. 
• Strong work ethic; able to work independently and follow directions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable vehicle. 
• Ability to use Microsoft apps and programs.

Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in accredited college or university.
