ABOUT THE ROLE
Help shape the future of data and analytics at SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands. Based in San Francisco, you’ll own the strategy, roadmap and evolution of our North America data and analytics platform—connecting business needs with technology to unlock better, faster decision-making. Working across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and IT, you’ll champion trusted data, powerful analytics and new capabilities, including AI and automation. This is an opportunity to influence how teams across the organization use data, turn insights into action and build a more data-driven business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the data and analytics strategy, roadmap and priorities, aligned with our corporate business objectives and functional needs.
- Serve as the business Product Owner, leading requirements definition, prioritization and backlog management while partnering with IT and functional teams to deliver new capabilities.
- Drive data quality, governance and platform reliability in partnership with IT and functional report owners to identify root causes and resolve data integrity, and ingestion issues while mapping opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and other functions to identify high-value analytics opportunities, define requirements and develop or enhance Power BI dashboards and analytical capabilities.
- Drive user adoption and analytics capability building through onboarding, training, communications and establishing a network of Power BI Super Users.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning and emerging analytics capabilities to improve decision-making, automate workflows and enhance user experience.
- Own business governance for platform access, security and permissions, partnering with IT and functional leaders to ensure appropriate access and protection of sensitive data.
- Establish and monitor key product metrics to measure adoption, usage, data quality, user satisfaction, and business impact, using insights to continuously improve the analytics portfolio.
- Working knowledge of modern data architecture concepts, including data models, data pipelines/integration, APIs, cloud data platforms and semantic models, with the ability to effectively partner with data engineering and IT teams.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of experience in data & analytics, business intelligence, analytics product management, commercial analytics, or a related business-facing function, including demonstrated experience owning data or analytics products from business requirements through delivery and adoption.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods, retail, commercial analytics or customer-facing analytics, with understanding of Sales, Marketing and/or Supply Chain business processes.
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs into data, reporting or analytical solutions and partnering effectively with technical/IT teams.
- Familiarity with multiple business data sources such as retailer POS, syndicated data, ERP/SAP, demand planning, trade promotion, marketing/media and customer inventory/forecast data.
- Strong understanding of Power BI or comparable business intelligence and visualization platforms; ability to translate analytical needs into effective reporting solutions.
- Experience with data governance, data quality management and data integration.
- Demonstrated product ownership/project leadership experience, including prioritization, Agile ways of working, backlog management and cross-functional delivery.
- Outstanding analytical thinking, communication, executive presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong influencing and change-management capabilities, with experience driving adoption and capability building without direct authority.
- Experience leveraging AI, advanced analytics to enhance business intelligence, automate analytical workflows and improve decision-making
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday Office work environment: San Francisco, CA office
- Domestic travel up to 10%
- Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period
- This role is eligible for domestic relocation

The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 160,570.00 USD - 210,748.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
