CNC Operator

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:

· Operate CNC mills and CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to specifications.

· Load and unload parts, raw materials, tooling, and fixtures while maintaining efficient production flow.

· Perform basic machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments as required.

· Monitor CNC mill and lathe operations to identify malfunctions, tooling issues, or out-of-tolerance conditions.

· Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.

· Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions.

· Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.

· Make necessary machine or tooling adjustments to maintain part quality and production requirements.

· Identify and report equipment malfunctions, damaged tooling, quality concerns, or other production issues.

· Maintain accurate production, inspection, and job documentation.

· Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Collaborate with machinists, quality personnel, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals.

 

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous CNC machining or CNC operator experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Hands-on experience operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes is required.

· Experience with basic CNC machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and machining specifications.

· Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.

· Working knowledge of CNC tooling and machining processes.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

· Ability to consistently produce parts within required specifications and tolerances.

· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as required.
