Facilities Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Location: Wentworth, Surrey
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Contract: 15 months Fixed Term Contract
The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, The Staysure Legends Tour and the HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.
We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Wentworth. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of our office, facilities and workplace projects. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in ensuring our employees, visitors and stakeholders enjoy a safe, efficient and well-maintained working environment.
This is not a desk-based facilities administration role. You'll spend much of your time out in the office environment, engaging directly with facilities operations, supporting projects and ensuring the workplace runs smoothly.
Please note: This role is based at our Wentworth office five days per week.
What you'll be doing
Coordinating office improvement and building projects
Managing contractors and ensuring maintenance work is completed effectively
Supporting office operations and day-to-day facilities management
Responding to facilities issues and identifying practical solutions
Managing workplace security processes and access requirements
Supporting health and safety initiatives, training and compliance activities
Managing facilities administration, purchase orders and operational processes
Assisting with reception and front-of-house support when required
Supporting facilities requirements for the BMW PGA Championship and other business activities as needed
Scheduling planned preventative maintenance
Managing building access and security
Overseeing the facilities inbox and office communications
Administering the leisure portal
Providing occasional support to other offices
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Previous experience in a facilities, workplace, office management or property-related environment
Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance activities or workplace projects
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to be visible around the office
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Why join us?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in creating great workplace experiences and wants a role where they can make a visible impact every day.
If you're someone who likes being on your feet, enjoys solving problems and thrives in a hands-on facilities role, we'd love to hear from you.
The European Tour group promote diversity, equality, and inclusion. We ensure that we make employment decisions by matching our business needs with skills and experience of candidates, regardless of anything.
