What You’ll Do:
As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.
You'll:
Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers
Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression
Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately
Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail
Communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language
Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care
Build trust and connection that encourages customers to return
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring:
You’re 18 years of age or older
You enjoy working with people and providing great service
You’re comfortable learning and using technology
You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
You’re dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to help
Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
