Microsoft Dynamics / Power Platform Solution Architect – Remote Opportunity

Role:

Technical authority for conversion of the two legacy Dynamics CRM instances into the Microsoft Power Platform/Dataverse environment.

The architect owns or leads:

• Current-state CRM architecture assessment
• Target Power Platform architecture
• Two-instance restructuring/consolidation strategy
• Cross-instance relationship preservation
• Shared-contact handling
• Dataverse table/relationship architecture
• Migration architecture
• Power Apps architecture
• Power Automate modernization
• SharePoint integration continuity
• Solution layering and ALM
• Environment strategy
• Test/UAT/production promotion
• Cutover and rollback architecture
• Performance optimization
• Technical design for Phase II enhancements
• Architecture for website/email integrations
• Technical review of all configuration and development

Those functions map to EOG's Transition Architecture and Runbook, Data Mapping and Migration Plan, SharePoint validation, cutover/rollback, operations guide, workflow equivalence, solution design, configuration documents, and production implementation package.

Required:

• 8+ years in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365/Power Platform, with substantial architecture responsibility
• Must have personally participated in at least two production CRM modernization/migration projects involving legacy Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365/Dataverse/Power Platform
• Experience migrating legacy CRM entities/tables, relationships, activities, users/owners, security roles, workflows/business logic, and associated integration
• Hands-on Dataverse architecture
• Model-driven Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Dynamics/D365 solution management
• Managed/unmanaged solution strategy and environment promotion
• Dataverse security roles and record ownership concepts
• SharePoint-Dynamics/Dataverse document integration
• Data migration reconciliation and cutover planning
• Production deployment and rollback
• Ability to produce architecture diagrams and implementation documentation rather than relying entirely on developers

Highly preferred:

• Microsoft PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect
• PL-400 and/or PL-200
• Azure architecture experience
• Government or regulated-industry CRM/case-management experience
• Experience with sensitive investigations, complaints, legal cases, audit findings, healthcare, financial, insurance, or similarly restricted data
• Legacy Dynamics on-premises experience
• Experience modernizing custom Dynamics workflows, plugins, JavaScript, forms, views, and security into current Power Platform patterns
