About the Role
- This role contributes to delivering reliable and thoughtful customer outcomes, creating meaningful impact for both customers and the wider community. The role holder is expected to embed a customer-first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, taking end-to-end ownership in resolving issues, including facilitating timely delivery of pre-authorization (PA) decisions to agents and customers, and collaborating across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.- Lead highly complex analytics initiatives supporting AIAHK's Proposition & Healthcare business and Integrated Healthcare Strategy (IHS). The incumbent serves as a senior analytics expert and trusted partner to business stakeholders, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions and actionable recommendations.
- The role is responsible for driving end-to-end analytics engagements, shaping analytical approaches, and influencing business decisions through advanced analytics, while collaborating closely with the business stakeholders, and analytics colleagues to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead complex analytics projects across claims, healthcare, customer, product and proposition domains to generate actionable insights that drive business growth, customer value and portfolio sustainability.
- Apply advanced analytics, predictive modelling, machine learning and AI techniques to solve business problems, identify opportunities, and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Drive analytics supporting proposition development, healthcare initiatives, claims management and performance improvement, including evaluation of business outcomes and recommendations for optimisation.
- Lead the design, development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting solutions and performance measurement frameworks to enable active monitoring of key business metrics and drivers.
- Partner with stakeholders across Proposition & Healthcare, Claims, Operations, Technology and other business functions to ensure analytical insights are translated into practical actions and measurable business impact.
- Promote best practices in analytics, data governance and insight generation, while providing technical expertise and thought leadership on analytics-related initiatives within the department.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Healthcare, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- 8-10 years of analytics experience, preferably in insurance, healthcare, financial services, or related sectors.
- Strong expertise in healthcare, claims, customer, and business performance analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced analytics, predictive modelling, AI, and machine learning applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, or equivalent analytical tools.
- Proven ability to influence business decisions through analytics and convert insights into measurable actions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering directly with senior management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to independently manage multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Life and health insurance experiences are strongly preferred.
