UKG Kronos Consultant

We are looking for an experienced UKG Kronos Consultant to implement, configure, support, and enhance UKG Workforce Management solutions. The consultant will work with business, HR, payroll, and technical teams to deliver effective timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, leave, and workforce-management solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support UKG Pro Workforce Management, formerly UKG Dimensions, and/or Kronos Workforce Central.
• Gather and analyse business requirements related to timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, leave, accruals, and payroll.
• Configure pay rules, work rules, employment terms, holiday profiles, accrual policies, schedules, and attendance policies.
• Configure organisational structures, labour levels, security roles, user access, and workflow approvals.
• Develop and maintain integrations between UKG Kronos and HR, payroll, ERP, and third-party applications.
• Support interfaces using UKG Integration Hub, Boomi, APIs, flat files, and other integration tools.
• Configure and support time clocks, device profiles, data collection terminals, and mobile functionality.
• Perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot configuration, payroll, scheduling, interface, and production-support issues.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and provide timely solutions for incidents and service requests.
• Support system upgrades, patches, releases, data migration, and deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and user guides.
• Conduct user training and provide post-go-live support.
• Coordinate with HR, payroll, business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure the solution complies with company policies, labour regulations, security standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least four years of hands-on experience with UKG Kronos workforce-management solutions.
• Strong experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management, UKG Dimensions, or Kronos Workforce Central.
• Good knowledge of timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, leave, accruals, and payroll processes.
• Hands-on experience configuring pay rules, work rules, schedules, accrual policies, and attendance rules.
• Experience with UKG integrations, APIs, Integration Hub, Boomi, or Workforce Integration Manager.
• Knowledge of employee imports, payroll exports, interface monitoring, and error handling.
• Experience with SQL, reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of workforce-management devices and time-clock configuration.
• Experience with implementation, enhancement, upgrade, or production-support projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating UKG with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Workday, Oracle HCM, or other HR and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of UKG Advanced Scheduler, Forecasting, Attendance, Analytics, and Reporting.
• Experience with multi-country or large-scale workforce-management implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and ITIL support processes.
• UKG or Kronos certification would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in UKG Kronos implementation, configuration, integration, or application support.
• UKG certification is preferred but not mandatory.
