Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Compliance Manager to provide leadership and oversight across procurement governance, supplier compliance, contract administration, supplier performance, ESG compliance and Facilities Management operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring procurement and supplier management activities remain compliant, transparent and aligned with governance frameworks while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement governance processes, policies, controls and approval frameworks.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, due diligence, accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain approved supplier databases, compliance registers and supporting documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, contractual commitments and compliance requirements.
- Manage supplier scorecards, performance reviews, corrective action plans and escalations.
- Maintain and monitor supplier contracts, SLA registers, renewals and contractual obligations.
- Support ESG compliance programmes, responsible procurement and ethical sourcing initiatives.
- Oversee Facilities Management Helpdesk governance, service requests, work orders and service-level performance.
- Monitor procurement, supplier, compliance, ESG and operational risks and maintain appropriate mitigation plans.
- Prepare compliance dashboards, management reports, scorecards and performance trackers.
- Work closely with Property Management, Finance, Risk, Operations, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Matric is essential.
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field.
- 5–7 years' relevant experience within Procurement, Compliance, Supplier Governance, Facilities Management, Property Management or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory, leadership or governance role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, internal controls and risk management.
- Experience in supplier due diligence, compliance monitoring and performance management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised and process-driven, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office, business systems, database and reporting tool proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within a Facilities Management or Property Management environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of CIPC and corporate compliance requirements would be advantageous.
- Multilingual proficiency would be advantageous.
