Position Overview
An established outpatient mental health organization is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join its multidisciplinary behavioral health team in Roslyn, NY.
The LCSW will provide evidence-based psychotherapy to patients with OCD, anxiety, and related disorders, including participation in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, family, and couples psychotherapy.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT, CPT, and PE.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Treat patients with OCD, anxiety, and other complex behavioral health conditions.
- Participate in the IOP and manage higher-acuity cases.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other clinical professionals.
- Participate in case discussions, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with developments in evidence-based behavioral health treatment.
- Provide mentorship or supervision when appropriate based on experience.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Active New York State LCSW license.
- 5+ years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience treating OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or related conditions.
- Experience with evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT, CPT, or PE.
