Description
The Opportunity:
• CACI ELITE is seeking a highly disciplined, mission-focused Asset Manager & Logistician with a strong background (15+ years) in US Army logistics to oversee high-value asset portfolios, global shipping operations, and property book management in Stuttgart, Germany. The successful candidate will operate within highly secure, classified environments and lead the lifecycle management, auditing, and secure movement of Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) devices, including Controlled Cryptographic Items.
• A critical component of this role is the expert use of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). The candidate must possess deep operational familiarity with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Logistics Operations Center (DLOC), tactical Division Logistical Operations Centers (DLOC), and EDI-compliant Delivery Location (DLOC) automated shipping and marking standards.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain physical and administrative accountability for TS/SCI hardware, and devices throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the DLA DLOC to manage the strategic routing, tracking, and prioritization of time-sensitive military cargo.
• Manage transportation requirements for Defense Courier Service (DCS) and Transportation Protective Service (TPS) cargo, ensuring classified, sensitive, and weapon-system-related freight is moved securely in accordance with Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) Part II.
• Prepare and validate critical shipping documentation IAW Department of the Army guidelines.
• Manage and execute all property book and supply actions within the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) database.
• Utilize military logistics systems such as the Distribution Standard System (DSS), Vendor Shipment Module (VSM), Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS), and the Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) to track shipments and maintain In-Transit Visibility (ITV).
• Streamline warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, kitting, and consolidating materials for onward theater distribution.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Top Secret with SCI Clearance.
- Currently a US Citizen
- Subject Matter Expertise in GCSS-Army: Complete mastery of the GCSS-Army system, including deep operational knowledge of its Unit Supply and Property Book modules. The candidate must have a proven track record of managing property hand receipts, material requests, and equipment status reports directly through the GCSS-Army portal.
- Expert-level understanding of military shipping protocols, including the Defense Transportation System (DTS), USTRANSCOM regulations, & DLA Distribution hubs.
- Direct experience handling and shipping secure/sensitive devices.
Desired:
- Experience serving as a Primary hand-receipt holder, Property Book Officer (PBO), or equivalent senior property accountability manager at the Battalion, Brigade, Division, or comparable organizational level, with direct GCSS-Army responsibility.
- Direct experience working in or coordinating with a tactical Division Logistical Operations Center (DLOC) during multi-domain operations or major exercises.
- Professional industry certifications, such as a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) through the Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) or DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level II/III.
- Experience executing First Destination Transportation (FDT) initiatives and navigating the Vendor Shipment Module (VSM) portal.
