QC Auditor

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Inspects products and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. They conduct audits, document findings, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions. This role is essential for maintaining product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within the production or distribution process.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Determine if the audit will be for the entire PO received or if the audit will be only a percentage of the product received from grading or testing 
• For cosmetics audits, analyze the product physically and corroborate the grade previously given. Excluding the B grades. 
• For functional audits, run a product test process again and verify if all the information received from the testing area is accurate. 
• Analize the labels and all the information that came with the product, then verify that all the information matches. In order to send the product to the correct area. 
• Create a report with all the observations, scores, grades, errors, and reasons for changes (if any) that may be encountered during the cosmetic or functional audit process. Share these results with the QC supervisor and Director of Operations 
• With all the errors detailed in the report. Create a feedback document and point the corrective actions with the team, document this action for future references. 
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
• Perform additional duties and/or projects as requested by management.

• Direct Reports: Distribution Center Area Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Warehouse qc line experience 2 year required
• Skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Competencies: Product Inspection , Information Organization, Effective Communication, Verification

• This position works in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. Temperature of work area is affected by outside temperature.
• Involves standing/walking/bending/ stooping/ reaching primarily on a level surface throughout the day; may involve utilizing electric lifts to access or rotate inventory.
• Push and pulling pallets and lifting products is required. Physical strength to handle lifting up to 50-pound objects throughout the day. 
• Requires normal eyesight; normal dexterity of hands and fingers.
