About the Program
This is an Earn While You Learn opportunity that combines:
- Comprehensive classroom instruction
- Hands-on clinical experience
- Real-world skills development in a supportive environment
Our program prepares students with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to succeed as a CNA.
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the Maine CNA competency exam, graduates will qualify to pursue full-time or part-time employment opportunities.
Program Requirements
To be considered for the CNA Training Program, applicants must submit:
- A current resume
- A cover letter explaining why you would be a strong fit for the CNA program
- Two letters of recommendation from a former supervisor, manager, teacher, coach, mentor, etc.
Prior to enrolling in the program, selected candidates must:
- Successfully pass the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) exam

Requirements

- Complete interview with Clinical Instructor
- Complete a Pre-Hire Employment Screening
- Successfully pass CASAS Reading/Comprehension
