Position Summary:
The Consumer Credit Underwriting Technology (CCUT) team is looking for a seasoned Feature Lead to design and deliver technology solutions for various projects and help optimize the operational aspects of the Integrated Credit Decision Platform (ICDP). This role is responsible for leading one or more scrum teams and partnering with multiple teams to deliver initiatives across the CCUT organization. Key responsibilities include executing the technology strategy, ensuring solutions comply with applicable standards, providing elegant design solutions to customer problems, embracing design and coding best practices, leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, and advancing agile solution delivery practices.This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
• Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
• Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
• Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
• Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
• Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
• Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
• Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions supporting CCUT/ICDP priorities and business growth.
• Drive platform modernization and advance scalability, resiliency, security, performance, and operational excellence.
• Own the end-to-end solution lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, implementation, and production support.
• Conduct impact assessments and root-cause analysis to identify risks, resolve production issues, and recommend sustainable improvements.
• Lead architecture, code, and technical design reviews while mentoring engineers and promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Manage delivery, operational, and technology risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions and strategic initiatives across the ICDP platform.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering job related field required.
• 5+years of job related experience required
• Extensive hands-on experience with MuleSoft technologies.
• Strong working experience with Spring frameworks, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Expertise in OpenShift containers, including migrating Java and Mule applications and services from VMware environments to containers.
• Proficiency with IDE tools such as Anypoint Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and IntelliJ IDEA.
• Expertise in using GitHub Copilot, agentic AI, and other enterprise AI tools integrated with various IDEs.
• Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in building EAR files using Maven.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise applications.
• Experience working with development and scrum teams to support project delivery.
• Expertise in creating SOAP and/or REST web services for high-volume enterprise consumption.
• Strong experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems, with proficiency in commonly used commands.
• Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, and various CI/CD tools.
• ·Ability to work independently, lead other developers, and provide technical guidance on frameworks and proofs of concept (POCs).

Desired Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT solutions for consumer banking across agent, voice, and digital channels.
• Java programming and architecture certifications are preferred.
• MuleSoft certification is preferred.
