Job Summary

The Community & Marketing Liaison serves as the primary bridge between the Agency and the community. This role is responsible for identifying and addressing community and customer needs, promoting home health services, establishing strong relationships with medical professionals, and coordinating the logistics of essential medical supplies and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Community Relations & Marketing

• Program Promotion: Develop and execute strategies to promote the      Agency's home health programs and services within the community.
• Public Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with physicians, medical practices, hospitals, and community organizations to increase awareness of Agency services.
• Marketing Strategy & Materials: Advise the Agency on promotional needs and assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g.,      flyers, brochures, branded supplies, and referral pads).
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing healthcare marketing, including Stark Law and the      Anti-Kickback Statute.

Operational & Logistical Support

• Paperwork & Charts: Safely transport medical charts and confidential documentation between facilities.
• Equipment & Testing: Deliver medical equipment and lab specimens/tests to hospitals, clinical offices, and laboratories.
• Supply Distribution: Coordinate and deliver Personal Protective      Equipment (PPE), therapy supplies, and other necessary materials to field staff.
• Quality Standards: Maintain high operational standards consistent with quality, cost-effective healthcare delivery while maximizing resources.
• Governance: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Education:      Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in healthcare marketing or public relations is preferred.
• Skills:      Excellent interpersonal communication with the ability to establish collaborative relationships across all levels of healthcare organizations and internal Agency teams.

Environmental & Working Conditions

• Travel & Mobility: Frequent local travel required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Work Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational demands and deadlines.
• Physical Demands:
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking across various healthcare and office environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions during deliveries and travel.
• Stress Management: Must maintain composure, professionalism, and courtesy in high-pressure or fast-paced situations.
