The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.
We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) in QC Bioanalytics. The QC Bioanalytics department at Lonza Visp is responsible for a broad range of biochemical analyses. To support our growing team, we are seeking a motivated intern (m/f/d) who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment and contribute to our quality control operations.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:
- Carrying out routine analysis with a focus on ELISA and qPCR, in compliance with GMP and safety guidelines
- Method implementation, validation and method transfer
- Administrative activities, such as documenting the results and creating work instructions
- Support laboratory maintenance (responsibility for equipment) and ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy
What we are looking for:
- Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (m/f/d), a Bachelor's degree in Biology, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an asset
- First experience with ELISA and qPCR is advantageous
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an asset
- You are independent, responsible and have a very precise way of working. You have good communication and teamwork skills and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
- You enjoy being part of a young, dynamic team, are committed and have initiative
- Fluent in either German or English (language skills in the respective other language is a plus)
