Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
- APAC Network Delivery Execution role is a Technical Service Delivery Manager position within Bank of America's Core Technology Infrastructure team, focused on network services across 12 APAC markets. This position emphasizes project portfolio management and stakeholder collaboration to enhance the bank's network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
- Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
- Project Coordination
- Planning, executing, and monitoring projects within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Development of project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and issues are resolved.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial resources are used efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
- Education and Experience
- - Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- - 5+ years of experience in project management or a related role.
- - Experience in portfolio management or within the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
- Skills and Competencies
- - Proven knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, including both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- - Experience in working with Jira
- - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- - Strong effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- - Excellent stakeholders management skill with the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders, and address issues proactively and find effective solutions.
- - Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- - Teamwork: Experience working in collaborative environments and supporting cross-functional teams.
- - Ability to operate with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Foundation certification.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, and basic network security protocols.
