Role Overview
OnQGlobal is seeking Construction Safety Facilitators to support large-scale construction projects across various industries. We are looking to hire experienced safety professionals to support field operations, ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and site-specific protocols across all phases of construction.
The Construction Safety Facilitator will act on behalf of the project owner to monitor safety performance, promote a proactive safety culture, and serve as a key liaison between owner representatives, general contractors, and subcontractors. This is a field-focused role suited to professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability construction environments.
Responsibilities
• Monitor GC and subcontractor safety performance to ensure compliance with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926) and project requirements
• Conduct daily site walks and safety observations
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site communications
• Identify hazards and support mitigation strategies
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting
• Track and communicate safety metrics and trends
• Serve as a liaison between owner, GC, and field teams on safety matters
• Promote a proactive, solutions-oriented safety culture on site
Requirements
Qualifications
• 5–10 years of construction safety experience
• Strong knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Standards
• Experience on ground-up construction projects (civil, structural, electrical, or mixed scope)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 a major plus
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed
• Open to relocation or travel as required by project assignment
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting large-scale or fast-track construction projects
• Background across multiple construction sectors — civil, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure
• Prior experience working in a Safety position with a General Contractor
