Job Summary:**
The Production Technician 3 will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring product quality within a high-volume production environment. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and a commitment to operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform complex assembly, test, and troubleshooting operations on optical and electronic components and sub-assemblies according to established procedures and specifications.
* Operate and maintain a variety of production equipment, including automated and semi-automated machinery, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
* Conduct in-process inspections and tests, recording data accurately and identifying and resolving discrepancies or defects.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of production issues, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Document all work performed, including test results, rework, and equipment maintenance, in accordance with quality system requirements.
* Train and mentor less experienced production technicians on processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Participate in lean manufacturing activities and initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Optics, Manufacturing Technology) preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the optical, semiconductor, or electronics industry.
* Proven ability to read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
* Demonstrated experience with precision hand tools, measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters), and automated test equipment.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for delicate assembly and handling of components.
* Proficient computer skills, including experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
* Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required.
Pay Range:
N30-USA-1 :$25.55 - $31.95Disclaimer:
