Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
Quality and Security: Embed security and compliance checks into the build and deploy processes.
Monitoring & Support: Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and incident management.
Team Overview:
Modernization initiative focused on automating the mainframe SDLC. Endevor is the organization's source code repository and change management system, and the resource will help design and implement end-to-end deployment workflows to automate code promotion from development to SIT/UAT and production.

Consultant, Mainframe DevOps Deploy
Core duties and expectations:
• Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
• Quality and Security: Embed security and compliance checks into the build and deploy processes.
• Monitoring & Support: Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and incident management.
Must Haves:
• 5+ years of strong administrative and operational knowledge of DevOps Deploy on zOS, including expertise in code packaging, deployments, and overall product management, including access controls.
• Documenting processes and workflows for ongoing support and audit compliance.
• Linux experience, including coding of JavaScript
• Experience with DevOps Deploy integrations with the mainframe SDLC (deployment of versions to SIT, UAT and production with differing R&R for each environment)
• DevOps Engineering and/or SRE background
Nice to haves:
• 2+ years of Experience setting up partial Deploy and Rollback process workflows.
• Experience setting up DevOps Deploy in a cluster configuration (active-passive) for both application and database components
• Working knowledge of mainframe architecture z/OS and USS
• z/OS experience, especially coding simple to mid complexity REXX/JCL
• Experience in z/OS development and operations environments – TSO/E, ISPF, USS, SDSF, z/OSMF
• Financial banking experience
