Pay Transparency:


The pay range for this role is:

$149,200.00-$254,000.00/Annual

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.

 

Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

 

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, “flexible time off” for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks’ vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

Job Details

The Director, Global Logistics and Distribution leads Haemonetics’ global logistics and distribution strategy to ensure products are delivered in a timely, compliant, and cost-effective way. This role oversees global distribution operations, internal and outsourced logistics, and the freight network across all regions, while driving network optimization, resilience, and alignment with the broader supply chain and business strategy. This role leads the Global Distribution Operations teams, including Haemonetics hub distribution centers and 3PL providers, as well as the Global Freight Management. The Director partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams to align logistics and distribution with enterprise priorities and customer needs.

  • Own the P&L for Global Distribution and Logistics, including development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and delivery of financial commitments through disciplined service performance.

  • Translate global plans into regional inventory, logistics, and service goals, ensuring execution against AOP expectations and alignment with business, customer, and market needs.

  • Lead third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, customs brokers, and distribution partners worldwide, with clear governance, performance expectations, and escalation processes. Ensure that all supplier management practices comply with corporate quality systems and applicable regulatory, trade, and product-handling requirements.

  • Lead the ongoing assessment and optimization of the global distribution footprint, transportation model, and 3PL network to support growth, customer requirements, cost competitiveness, and working capital efficiency.

  • Establish risk management and business continuity plans across the logistics and distribution network, covering transportation disruptions, 3PL performance, customs and trade challenges, and regional supply continuity risks.

  • Lead logistics and distribution systems transformation, including WMS, freight tracking, EDI, and Oracle ERP optimization, to improve service, visibility, scalability, and cost performance.

  • Build and lead a high-performing global team, with accountability for talent management, succession planning, coaching, and leadership development.

  • Develop meaningful operational and financial metrics, using data and benchmarking to drive performance and continuous improvement.

  • Own and improve key performance indicators, including customer service, OTIF, line fill, freight and distribution costs, cost to serve, inventory positioning, provider performance, and quality and compliance metrics.

  • Develop the long-range strategy for logistics and distribution, including recommendations on network design, capacity, and operating model decisions aligned with business priorities.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across logistics and distribution operations, using data, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving to improve service, quality, productivity, and cost.

  • Stay connected to external market practices and emerging trends to support world-class logistics and distribution performance.

Education

  • REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or relevant course of study

  • PREFERRED Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, MBA, or relevant course of study

Experience

  • REQUIRED 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in global logistics, distribution, and supply chain operations

  • Proven experience building, developing and leading teams

  • Proven experience leading a complex global logistics and distribution network across multiple regions, sites, and external partners.

  • Deep expertise in global transportation, distribution, 3PL management, and customs and trade compliance.

  • Demonstrated success leading transformation, network optimization, and continuous improvement in a global supply chain environment.

  • Customer-first, enterprise mindset with the ability to balance service, compliance, cost, and resilience.

  • Experience in a regulated industry, ideally medical device, healthcare, or life sciences.

  • Approximately 25% travel (domestic and international)
