WHO YOU ARE:
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is primarily responsible for the preparation of QTS’ consolidated financial statement reporting as well as lender compliance reporting. This individual will collaborate across departments and with external auditors, gaining broad exposure to the Company’s operations. This position reports to the Director, Financial Reporting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Prepare financial statements (both QTS consolidated and stand-alone entities), footnotes, and related disclosures for external reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of the Company’s debt compliance reporting to ensure all required financial information and covenant calculations are provided accurately and timely to lending institutions.
Assist in the coordination of annual audit activities of external auditors.
Use accounting concepts, reporting experience, and analytical skills to resolve questions/issues in efficient and effective ways.
Proactively identify issues and areas for process improvement, including automation, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Establish and maintain effective controls over financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of reported financial information.
Support ad hoc financial reporting requests as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting
Two or more years of relevant accounting and/or financial reporting experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CPA
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or MBA
Three or more years of relevant accounting and/or financial reporting experience
Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm
Experience with financial reporting platforms such as Wdesk
