About Intel
Intel is seeking a visionary Development Tools Software Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the tools and solutions that drive excellence across manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software products, and ecosystem enabling.
Position Overview
You will architect, design, and lead the development of innovative software tools—such as debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, PDKs, and methodologies—that empower Intel to maintain its industry leadership. As a trusted advisor for technical direction, you will engage with engineering partners, interact with technologists across Intel and the broader industry, and evaluate requirements to prioritize impactful developments. Your contributions will directly influence Intel's success, enabling precision and efficiency across complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and lead the development of software tools in the domain of Network On Chip and SoC development.
• Design software solutions to innovate and optimize processes for development, validation, and testing.
• Evaluate feasibility of requirements and provide technical direction for software development projects.
• Conduct architecture modeling and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Review code and communicate architectural intent effectively to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with technologists across Intel and industry leaders to establish and implement technical priorities.
• Solve complex group-level engineering challenges through innovative problem-solving and design approaches.
• Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle by maintaining high standards of software debugging, development, and validation.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics engineering, computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in software development with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Expertise and direct working experience with programming languages (such as C++, Python, or Java) and exposure to latest AI assistants.
• Software development lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies.
• Software debugging and object-oriented software design.
• Performance modeling and correlation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics domain with a master's in computer science field.
• Exposure to architecture concepts of AMBA protocols.
• Experience interacting with technologists across industries to guide technical direction.
• Proven leadership in driving impactful software development projects within large organizations.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $173,660.00-245,160.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
