Overview:
- Must be currently registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee.
- Expected to obtain PTCB or ExCPT certification within 18 months of hire.
- The cost of the certification examination will be reimbursed upon successful completion.
Schedule:
Candidate must have the availability to work between 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Monday to Friday - 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required - 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Every 3rd Weekend Rotation
Holiday Rotation - One major, one minor

Essential Functions:
- Complies with USP 795, 797, and 800, and relevant regulatory standards for medication handling. Contributes to training of new pharmacy assistants when appropriate.
- Transports medications and supplies safely, timely, and accurately to their designated destinations.
- Performs drug inventories, rotations, and stock management, including sorting, unpacking, and restocking medications.
- Adheres to isolation and radiation precautions and utilizes proper body mechanics when handling medications.
- Communicates using customer-friendly phone skills and appropriately directs customer concerns.
- Maintains a clean and orderly pharmacy and maintains accurate and timely documentation of completed tasks in designated record keeping systems.
Education Requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Skills:
Detail oriented.
Experience:
Six months of previous pharmacy or customer service experience, preferred.
