The Division of Hematology/Oncology within the UMass Memorial Medical Group and UMass Chan Medical School is actively seeking an experienced General Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Division of Hematology/Oncology working at our Cancer Center location in Marlborough, MA. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality community-based cancer care at a well-established practice.
About the Role:
Join a vibrant and growing Division of Hematology/Oncology, which includes:
28 Board-Certified Physicians and 33 Advanced Practice Providers
An integrated, multidisciplinary Cancer Center of Excellence focused on clinical care and innovation
Access to state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities
Affiliation with the UMass Chan Medical School, a nationally ranked academic institution
Key Highlights:
Primary clinical focus: General Hematology and Oncology
Protected administrative time
Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Collaborative Multidisciplinary Care: Work alongside expert teams in hematology, oncology, pathology, radiology, and surgical subspecialties to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Academic and Teaching Opportunities: Participate in conferences, tumor board discussions and inpatient fellowship, resident and student teaching. Academic appointment and rank at UMass Chan Medical School will be commensurate with experience.
Research Engagement: Contribute to clinical investigation and quality improvement within your area of interest, supported by the infrastructure of a major academic medical center and cancer research enterprise.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology Oncology
MD or DO degree and eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
Strong commitment to patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic engagement
Interest in clinical investigation, teaching, hemostasis/thrombosis and/or or sickle cell disease preferred
