Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Reception in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment by responding to security-related concerns and supporting site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor-management protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk and greet, screen, and direct visitors in accordance with healthcare location policies and access-control requirements.
• Verify visitor credentials, issue temporary access badges, maintain visitor logs, and communicate entry requirements to support authorized access.
• Monitor front-desk communications, cameras, alarms, and/or access-control systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
