Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Ambulatory Quality Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading clinic-based quality improvement initiatives and projects across the ambulatory environment/clinics. You will make best practice recommendations, identify improvement opportunities, develop project plans, form work teams, and lead clinic-level initiatives to enhance care quality.Every day, you will facilitate the closure of healthcare needs for our patients, particularly in terms of prevention and chronic disease management. Your work focuses on all aspects of quality process improvement and is conducted in accordance with professional standards, organizational objectives, and applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements. The intended outcomes are to create and implement work plans to help achieve organizational ambulatory quality strategies, including improving performance rates on various metrics and overall value-based revenue capture. You will collaborate with physicians, management/staff, and clinical service lines on performance improvement relating to quality management/reporting, and monitor quality indicators/results to identify/address weaknesses and variances. A considerable understanding of data's importance to performance improvement processes is also required. Duties involve weighing many factors requiring judgment, analytical ability, and problem-solving in complex data and situations.To be successful in your role, you will strategically lead clinic-based quality improvement initiatives and projects across the ambulatory environment, driving significant enhancements in the quality of care delivery, prevention, and chronic disease management. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership in making best practice recommendations, identifying improvement opportunities, developing comprehensive project plans, and fostering collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve superior performance rates, optimize value-based revenue capture, and ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, nursing or other healthcare-related field and five years of progressively responsible related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge. 
  • Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire

Preferred

  • Masters degree in a healthcare discipline and three years in a lead or management role.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
