Description
The bartley Corporation is seeking an experienced and dependable Crane Truck Driver / Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely driving and operating a crane truck to transport, load, unload, and place concrete forms at various jobsites.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive a panel crane truck to and from jobsites
- Operate the truck-mounted crane for loading, unloading, and placement of concrete forms
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Properly secure loads and verify equipment before transport
- Set up the crane safely, including outriggers and appropriate work-zone precautions
- Communicate effectively with foremen, crews, and signal persons during lifting operations
- Follow company, DOT, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements
- Maintain accurate inspection, delivery, and equipment records
- Assist crews as needed with material handling and jobsite operations
- Maintain the truck and crane in clean, safe operating condition
Qualifications
- Valid CDL appropriate for the vehicle being operated
- Previous experience operating a truck-mounted crane or panel crane truck
- Knowledge of safe rigging, lifting, load securement, and crane operations
- Ability to safely maneuver large commercial vehicles on active construction sites
- Strong safety awareness and good communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Clean driving record
