What you'll do:

In addition to managing asset distribution post-financial close through direct engagement with clients and investors, you will drive initiatives that expand the team's revenue streams—such as exploring new business lines or distribution channels. Success in this position requires you to build strong inter-personal relationships both internally across departments and externally with industry peers. By leveraging your analytical skills alongside your ability to nurture connections within the financial ecosystem, you will help develop sustainable client-focused solutions that enhance the organisation’s presence within the specialised finance sector.

- Develop strong knowledge of specialised finance fundamentals including deal structure, financial modelling, due diligence processes, and documentation standards.
- Produce and maintain high-quality market research on pricing trends, participations, deal structures, and investor activity for use in client presentations, pitches, underwriting applications, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Support senior origination team members by identifying new opportunities, conducting financial analysis, providing pricing insights, evaluating liquidity conditions, and assisting with syndication strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of underwriting applications, deal screening support memos, and other internal documents required for seamless execution of capital markets transactions.
- Play an active role in 'stretch hold' transactions by managing assets post-financial close through direct interaction with clients and investors during distribution phases including Q&A sessions and settlement procedures.
- Drive various specialised finance initiatives aimed at achieving team revenue targets by evaluating bespoke deal opportunities, exploring new distribution pathways, and developing emerging business lines such as ratings advisory or project bonds.
- Collaborate with distribution teams across regions to obtain up-to-date market insights and contribute to the organisation's origination and distribution strategy.
- Work in partnership with colleagues from multiple departments (including Project Finance, Real Estate Finance, Fund Finance) to broaden relationships with core clients by providing high-quality support for capital markets financing opportunities.
- Build effective relationships with counterparts at other banking institutions as well as financial sponsors to maximise market profile, origination opportunities, deal efficiency, and collaboration.
