Lead Information Security Engineer- PAM

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Information Security Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Lead computer security incident response activities for highly complex events
• Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
• Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
• Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
• Review and correlate security logs
• Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
• Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
• Lead a team to achieve objectives

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CyberArk implementation, administration, and engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in CyberArk PAS components (Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM, AAM, PTA, DR, Alero).
• Strong experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, LDAP, Databases, and Cloud platforms.
• Experience with credential management, secrets management, and PAM architecture.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell, Java).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• CyberArk certifications (CCD, CDE, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.

Job Expectations:

• Lead CyberArk architecture, engineering, and operational support across EPV, CPM, PVWA, PSM, AAM etc.
• Design and implement secure privileged access, credential management, and secrets management solutions.
• Drive onboarding of privileged accounts, applications, databases, and cloud platforms into CyberArk.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, threat mitigation, and platform remediation activities.
• Develop and enhance integrations, plugins, connectors, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to deliver PAM initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify security vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies.
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, patching, DR testing, and performance optimization.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership for enterprise PAM programs.
• As the PAM Engineering lead, you will partner with engineering teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application owners, and enterprise architects to evaluate solution options, establish design standards, and ensure alignment with security, compliance, and long-term platform objectives. The role extends beyond core CyberArk PAM and includes oversight of integrations, automation capabilities, cloud platforms, and upstream/downstream identity ecosystems.
