As Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Develop comprehensive verification and validation plans that align with program objectives, system requirements, and customer expectations.
- Establish verification approaches, success criteria, and compliance methods utilizing testing, analysis, demonstration, and inspection techniques.
- Define and maintain verification environments, including hardware, software, firmware, and supporting test assets required for execution.
- Create and manage requirements traceability artifacts, verification matrices, compliance documentation, and supporting evidence packages.
- Work closely with Integration & Test organizations to coordinate system integration, verification execution, and issue resolution activities.Analyze verification results, investigate anomalies, and drive corrective actions to achieve requirement compliance.
- Support program execution through technical planning, resource estimation, scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Balance engineering priorities to achieve technical objectives while meeting cost, schedule, and program commitments.
- Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, milestone reviews, and customer-facing discussions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers on systems engineering processes, requirements management, verification planning, and documentation standards.
- Champion process improvements that enhance engineering quality, consistency, efficiency, and technical rigor.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across systems, software, hardware, and test organizations to support successful program delivery.
- Perform additional systems engineering duties as required.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience supporting aerospace, space, defense, or other complex technical programs.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies and product development lifecycles.
- Experience authoring, managing, and validating system and subsystem requirements.
- Knowledge of requirements traceability, interface management, system integration, and configuration management practices.
- Experience supporting verification, validation, and compliance activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ability to translate customer needs, operational concepts, and technical specifications into actionable engineering requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
Salary Range: $130K-$170K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
