$15.00 per HourPrimary Purpose
Provide event production and facility support for activities held in the Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC). Assist staff with technical production, event setup, and facility operations.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:Minimum age 16
Current enrollment in a high school Fine Arts program
Completion of at least one year in a high school Fine Arts program, preferably with experience in technical theatre arts and music equipment setup Special Knowledge/Skills:Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow procedures and guidelines
General knowledge of theatrical light and sound equipment
General knowledge of theatrical rigging systems
Knowledge of projection equipment and setup/take-down of equipment for instrumental and vocal music
Skill in multitasking and problem solving
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Assist VPAC staff with the setup and operation of sound, lighting, video, rigging, and other facility systems and equipment.
Assist in a variety of production roles as assigned, including sound, lighting, video, stage management, stagehand, and building host.
Provide excellent customer service to guests, visitors, and District staff to help ensure successful performances and events.
Assist campuses and departments with performance and event needs as requested.
Communicate event needs and performance-related issues to the VPAC Manager on Duty.
Participate in training and certification as required to safely and effectively operate assigned equipment.
Assist in the care and maintenance of facility equipment and inventory.
Major Responsibilities and Duties

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent districtwide travel. Work extended evening hours at Frisco ISD athletic, fine arts, and other special events.
