Live-In Home Health Aide (HHA)

Pay: $255.45 per day

Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced and compassionate Live-In Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients throughout Suffolk County, including Huntington, Dix Hills, Melville, and surrounding communities.

We offer a variety of live-in schedules, including:

• 3-day live-in assignments
• 4-day live-in assignments
• 5-day live-in assignments
• Weekend live-in assignments

Whether you are looking for a few days each week or a more consistent schedule, we have opportunities to match your availability.

Bring a Friend and Work Together

Have a friend or fellow HHA who is also looking for work? Refer them to Affirmed Home Care and, when available, you may have the opportunity to coordinate or share a live-in assignment together.

Responsibilities

As a Live-In HHA, you will provide compassionate, reliable care while assisting clients with their daily needs. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing meals
• Performing light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the client

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
• Valid New York State HHA Certificate
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past year
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• MMR immunization documentation within the past 10 years
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
