Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Reporting in Wyandanch, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and log entries in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
