This is a strong opportunity for an early-career litigator to build a foundation in civil litigation alongside experienced attorneys, with real casework from day one and a clear path to growing responsibility.

Kelleher + Holland, LLC is a full-service law firm with a growing litigation practice handling a wide range of complex civil disputes. We're seeking an entry-level Litigation Attorney to support our team on matters outside of the personal injury and contingent-fee space, with the opportunity to develop hands-on litigation skills under the mentorship of senior attorneys.
Position Overview:
The Litigation Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys and partners across all stages of litigation, taking on increasing case responsibility as skills develop. This role is ideal for a recently admitted attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience who is eager to build strong research, writing, and courtroom fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and other court filings
? Assist with written discovery and deposition preparation
? Attend court hearings, status conferences, and mediations alongside senior attorneys
? Support case strategy and client communications under attorney supervision
? Help manage case files, deadlines, and court filings

Requirements
Qualifications:
? Active license to practice law in Illinois; additional bar admissions a plus
? 1–3 years of litigation experience preferred; strong academic or clerkship background considered
? Strong legal writing and research skills
? Eagerness to learn and take on increasing case responsibility over time
