Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Standards in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, observe activity, and document incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions through clear and timely reports.
• Maintain proficiency with and responsibly carry assigned authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, client requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
